BACKGROUND

Personality} Spock is wise beyond his years, and is looked upon in the herd as the group guru. He is quick and fair to discipline a rowdy foal or younger horse who has stepped out of line. He is a source of comfort to some of the more high-strung Hototos, and even some of the farm’s other horses. He is often times used when schooling young, boisterous horses as well as a therapy horse or children and troubled humans.
He is extremely quick to learn just about anything and will always retain a memory or a lesson. He’s very alert and listens intently to his surroundings, learning to peacefully co-exist with the nature around him. He has a very smooth and free flowing gait with an unforgettably sweet temper.

History} Spock came to this world as not only a long wanted breeding, but also as a “fee” for the breeding to the Chronicles most prized Hototo stallion, Rakastaja. Ahern Stables had contacted the farm in Kentucky to inquire about a chance at breeding to the pink diamond silver bay, and through careful consideration, CoaH had accepted the farm’s proposal. CoaH had also taken the chance to pair up AS’ famous pair, Nennir and Aska, for what was sure to be an extraordinary foal.
Spock did not disappoint. Since his first, clumsy steps, he exuded wisdom and security. He was never a really rambunctious foal, instead taking his days calmly at his mother’s side, or watching the others from the shade of the juniper trees. When it came time to be introduced to the Hototo herd at CoaH, Spock was quickly accepted with very little fuss. He seemed to accept his rank without question and settled in nicely. He still prefers to watch his herd mates from the comfort of the willow trees, sometimes with the company of a mare or two.
